Free MOT Terms and Conditions

  1. This offer entitles you to an MOT in a participating MOT centre, free of charge with no obligation to purchase additional services.

  2. This offer is only valid for Class4 vehicles as determined by the DVSA

  3. This offer is open to all UK residents who meet the qualifying criteria, except employees of Take Time, their immediate families, their agents and anyone else connected with the promotion.

  4. This offer can only be redeemed by the eligible customer this gift was issued to and cannot be transferred, gifted or sold.

  5. Bookings can only be made at the venues listed on https://www.website and can only be made between 1 – 28 days in advance of the preferred booking date. Same day bookings and bookings made further than 28 days in advance cannot be accepted.

  6. Please refer to your accompanying correspondence for information on as to when the free MOT must be booked and carried out by. This will be within 12 months from the date stated on your correspondence.

  7. Bookings can only be made via the dedicated Take Time Reservations Department on 01565 831 816 any booking or enquiries made directly with the MOT centre will not be honoured.

  8. The offer applies to bookings made in advance and does not apply to customers altering an appointment after a booking is made.

  9. The FREE MOT offer can only be redeemed against the cost of a MOT at participating MOT centres. Participating MOT centres can be found by using the area selector on the MOT centres tab.

  10. Should there not be a MOT centre within a 30-minute drive of your property, please contact the Take Time Reservations Department on 01565 831 816 and we will endeavor to find you a closer garage to utilise the free MOT offer.

  11. The use of the MOT is subject to availability at the MOT centre, and no cash or alternative offers are available.

  12. You will be required to take your confirmation letter with you and hand it in at the time of your MOT.

  13. Once your MOT is complete the MOT centre will provide you with an itemised report on the vehicle inspection.

  14. Should your vehicle fail the initial MOT test, customers will be given the option of having a retest. The retest will be charged at the MOT centres standard charge.

  15. Any additional works/repairs required to pass the MOT are not included in the offer. Any payment for additional works or a retest will need to be settled with the MOT centre at the time of purchase by you (the customer).

  16. You are under no obligation to take a retest or further works on your vehicle should this be required.

  17. If an MOT appointment is cancelled your unique booking number will become void.

  18. No cash alternative will be offered.

  19. Cost of travel to the MOT centre or any associated costs with this offer are entirely at the expense of each individual.

  20. A maximum of one unique booking code can be used per single MOT.

  21. Each MOT centre has confirmed its willingness to participate in this promotion. The Promoter or any associated partner cannot be held responsible for any MOT centre subsequently declining acceptance of a booking using the offer.

  22. MOT centres featured and all information is correct at time of this offer going live, but may be liable to change.

  23. The terms and conditions of each MOT centre apply.

  24. Each featured and participating venue holds the right to enforce rules and guidelines to comply with public health best practices during the COVID-19 outbreak and aftermath. This can include, but is not limited to, reduced services and social distancing rules. As a result, we respectfully ask you acknowledge there may be some service restrictions alongside your booking. Further information regarding venue restrictions and/ or enforced rules will be provided on request when contacting the venue. We recommend you enquire about reduced service(s) prior to your visit to avoid any disappointment.

  25. The Promoter and any associated partner shall not be liable for any failure or breach by individual MOT centres, whether direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or other damages based on the use of the service under this offer, and accept no responsibility for any loss suffered by any participant of the promotion.

  26. The Promoter or any associated partner accepts no liability for loss caused, damage to property or personal injury whilst on the premises of individual MOT centres, whether caused by the acts or omission of any third party.

  27. The promoter, its agents and distributors do not guarantee the quality and/or availability of the service offered by your chosen MOT centre and can't be held responsible for any resulting disagreement.

  28. Data collected will only be used by The Promoter and the MOT centre in connection with this promotion and only for internal use and will not be passed to third parties.

  29. This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions or discount schemes or cards generated by either the participating MOT centres or Take Time.

  30. Take Time or any associated partner reserve the right to alter, amend or withdraw this offer without prior written notice at their absolute discretion.
