1. What does my FREE MOT offer cover?

Your FREE MOT offer entitles one complimentary MOT Test on one Class 4 vehicle, at a participating MOT centre featured on this website. You will also be issued a fully itemised vehicle inspection report upon completion of your vehicle's MOT.

2. How do I find my local MOT centre?

Simply, use the 'find a venue' search option on the home page or select the appropriate option from the 'regions' tab. Once you have chosen your local area, the participating MOT centres and further details will appear.

3. Where can I find my unique booking code?

Your unique booking code can be found on your eligibility letter.

4. What number should I call to book?

To make a booking or enquiry, please call the MLP Reservations Team on 01565 831 816. Lines are open from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, excluding Public or Bank Holidays.

5. How soon can I book my MOT?

You can make a booking from anywhere between 1 to 30 days in advance, from the day you wish your vehicle to be tested.

6. Do I need to take anything with me when I go for my MOT?

Yes, once you've confirmed your booking with the MLP Reservations Team, they will issue you with a confirmation email/letter. You'll simply need to present this on a device or as a print out at your MOT appointment.

7. Can I just turn up at my local MOT centre and book this with them?

No. Bookings must come directly through the MLP Reservations Team and should you turn up at the MOT centre without a valid MLP confirmed booking, you will be liable to pay the full cost of your MOT. MLP will be unable to arrange payment on your behalf retrospectively.

8. What happens if my vehicle fails its MOT?

Once your MOT is complete, the MOT centre will provide you with an itemised report on the vehicle inspection. If your vehicle fails its test, you will be given the option to have the vehicle repaired at an additional charge, which will need to be settled directly with the MOT centre by you, the customer. This will apply for any parts and labour, also. If you have the works done, you have the option of a retest. The retest will be charged at the MOT centres standard charge.

9. How long do I have to book my offer?

Just to let you know, that your validity on your FREE MOT offer will be detailed on your eligibility letter, so be sure to check your gift email/letter communication for this exact date. Bookings must be made and completed by this date.

10. What if I cannot find an MOT centre close by?

If there is not an MOT centre within a 30 minute drive of your property, please contact the MLP Reservations Team on 01565 831 816 and we will endeavour to find one closer for you to use the FREE MOT offer.
